This years carnival will be taking place this Sunday (8 July 2012). The parade will start at 6pm from Russell Street Car Park and follow it's usual route up through the town centre.
Dover Town Council have again sponsored the "Bloco Fogo" band, who will be once again leading the parade ahead of The Court of Dover 2012.
As well as Bloco Fogo, the ATC Band, Medway Silver Stars and Hawkinge Flyers (both Majorette groups), CJ's and Beddowes Dance Academy will join the visiting courts from all over Kent and local businesses that have entered the parade.
If you would like to join in the parade yourself, email dovertowncarnival@hotmail.co.uk for a copy of the entry form. As well as trophies for Best Float, there is also trophies for best Fancy Dress in both adult and child categories, best decorated pram and umbrella's.
