Wanted man - seen in Dover area

Friday, 9 December 2011
Police are appealing for information about a man who is wanted on prison recall. Philip Grahame, 29 who is originally from North Wales, was originally sentenced in May 2009 at Bolton Crown Court for an offence of burglary in Bolton. He received a sentence of 29 months.

He was later released from prison on licence but has since breached the terms of that licence and has therefore been recalled to prison.

Grahame is described as 5 feet 6 inches tall with hazel eyes and he has a birth mark on the back of his neck on the left hand side, he also has a 'Tweety Pie' cartoon character tattooed on his mid abdomen and also a British Bulldog also on the left hand side of his abdomen.

His last known address was in Blackpool but it is thought that he may have connections to Kent and is believed to have been in Dover recently.

Inspector John Clucas said: "We would ask the public, particularly in the Devon area to be vigilant and report any sightings to the police - any details could be crucial."

Anyone with information can call police on 08451 25 35 45 or alternatively, people can contact independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or on-line at www.crimestoppers-uk.org. No personal details are taken, information is not traced or recorded and you will not go to court.
