Police Appeal For Witnesses Following Assault on 14 Year-Old Girl

Kent police in Dover are appealing for witnesses following an assault on a 14 year-old schoolgirl, which happened between 3.15 and 3.45pm on Monday, 6 December.

The schoolgirl was walking home from school with two friends. As they walked down Astor Avenue they saw a large group of girls in the park, who followed them down towards Tower Hamlets.

The group caught up with the schoolgirls, and the 14 year-old was pushed, slapped, and pulled to the ground, where she was kicked in the head by two girls. It is believed she lost consciousness, and was helped by a passer by.

She attended the William Harvey hospital. She sustained bruising to her torso and head.
