Police Appeal For Fight Witnesses

Police in Dover are appealing for witnesses following a fight resulting in two people receiving stab wounds, which happened on Friday 8 October between 10:30pm and 11.34pm in France Road, Whitfield.

Several people were in the house, and an argument broke out between two men and the fight moved into the front garden.

A third man, a 24 year-old local man who had been in the house, attempted to separate the men and he sustained stab wounds to his arm.

One of the men in the original fight, a 38 year-old local man, sustained serious stab wounds to his abdomen, and remains in hospital were his condition is said to be critical but stable.

The offender, a 42 year-old local man, left the scene and is being sought by police. It is not known if he is injured.
