The White Cliffs Creatives' Guild (WCCG), a not-for-profit membership organisation dedicated to promoting arts and crafts activities in the Dover District and beyond, is calling for artists in the area to submit work for their latest exhibition, Passion, which will open on February 2nd 2009, lasting for 4 weeks.
The WCCG are putting on the month-long exhibition in association with the newly refurbished Charlton Art Centre. All forms of work are acceptable, including but not limited to paintings, photographs, sculpture, pottery, woodwork and poetry. Handing in days will be 29th, 30th and 31st January, between 11 and 3pm, and the collection day will be 2nd March, between 11 and 3pm.
The theme for the exhibition is loosely based around feelings, passion and empathy, to tie in with Valentines Day, although submissions are not strictly required to fit the theme. More information can be found on the WCCG website at www.wccg.org.uk.
