Twenty Arrested In Drugs Raids

Officers from Kent Police's Serious and Organised Crime Unit and Tactical Support Group have arrested 20 people in dawn raids over two days. The planned enforcement targeted the importation, supply and distribution of cocaine.

The operation in Dover was part of a series of raids carried out in Kent and the culmination of more than one years investigation by Kent Police.

So far eight people have been charged with conspiracy to supply class A drugs. Seven others have been charged with supplying class A drugs and the remainder have been bailed pending the on-going investigation.

David Leonard, 12/02/66, of Dickson Road, Dover.
Paul Cannon, 22/06/58, of Astley Avenue, Dover.
Kim Kendall, 12/02/53, of Primrose Road, Dover.

Aaron Manley, 27/10/86, of Woodlands Road, Gillingham.

More than 200 hundred police officers were involved in the early morning raids where drugs, cash and vehicles were seized.
