Talk To Us Campaign Launched

Thursday, 10 July 2008
As part of ongoing work to ensure Dover District remains a safe place to live, work and visit, the Dover District Community Safety Partnership is launching a major 'Talk To Us' campaign. The aim of this wide reaching campaign is to seek the views of residents on community safety issues that are affecting them, to enable the partnership to be better placed to address these issues, and a special questionnaire has been prepared.

The Dover District Community Safety Partnership is a multi agency partnership working together to tackle crime and disorder in Dover District to ensure we stay a safe place to live, work and visit. The partnership is made up of representatives from Dover District Council, Kent Fire and Rescue, Kent County Council, Kent Police, Kent Police Authority, Crown Prosecution Service, the Primary Care Trust and other agencies.

Representatives from the partnership have already been at a range of venues to hand out questionnaires, answer questions and hear your views. This includes various supermarkets and events such as Passport 2 Sport and the Multicultural Festival. Representatives will be present at the Community Safety Day, which is being held on 19 July in Pencester Gardens, Dover from 11am to 4pm.

If you are not able to meet up with one of your 'Talk To Us' representatives at an event, a copy of the questionnaire will be printed in the September edition of the free Dover District Council @ Your Service residents newsletter, or is available online (see below).
