Police who arrested a man at Hawkinge on Monday under the Terrorism Act are examining two kebab shops in Dover and Aylesham.
Forensic officers went to the shops in High Street, Dover, and Cornwallis Avenue, Aylesham, last night. Both shops have been closed.
Police have confirmed that the searches are in connection with the Hawkinge arrest, but have not revealed any other information.
