How Do You Think Dover District Should Look In 20 Years?

Thursday, 20 March 2008
A major public consultation on plans for the next 20 years for Dover District is being launched from 27 March and your views are sought. Dover District Council is carrying out the consultation to enable all residents to have a say on key plans for the future of the area.

The consultation on the Local Development Framework (LDF) runs from 27 March to 7 May, and during this period the LDF documents will be on the Council's website. Copies will also be in public libraries and Council offices throughout the district. A series of exhibitions will be held on: 27, 28 and 29 March at Dover Discovery Centre, Dover; 4 and 5 April in Deal Library; and 11 and 12 April at the Guildhall, Sandwich. A leaflet setting out the main proposals and explaining all the ways to respond to the consultation will also be delivered to households and businesses across the district. All views will be taken into consideration by the Council to help it decide what changes should be made.
