Dover Pride Appoints New Director

The Dover Pride Strategic Partnership has announced the appointment of Anne Knight as the new Programme Director.

Dover Pride is a multi agency partnership that is committed to successfully delivering the inspirational plans for regeneration, economic development and growth in Dover.

Anne Knight has 16 years experience in economic and social regeneration and development. She is currently based at Dover District Council and reports directly to the Dover Pride Strategic Partnership.

Anne said: "This is an exciting, challenging role that offers a fantastic opportunity to help develop Dover as a prosperous and vibrant gateway town where people enjoy living, working and visiting. With the recent announcement of growth point status, the advent of the high speed rail link, and the key projects planned for the Mid Town, Western Docks, Waterfront, Town Investment Zone, Dover Castle, Western Heights, Connaught barracks, White Cliff Business Park and Buckland Mill, this is really a critical time for the future of Dover and underpins the need for effective partnership working to deliver the plans in a connected and strategic way. I am looking forward to directing the partnership to successfully deliver the quality regeneration and development that Dover deserves."
