Police Concern Grows Over Missing Man

Wednesday, 11 April 2007
Police in Dover are growing increasingly concerned about a man who has not been seen for almost five weeks.

22-year-old David Redman was last seen walking towards Marine Parade in Dover at 2.00 am on Saturday 10 March.

He is described as a white man, 5ft 6in tall, of slim build with collar length fair hair. He was wearing a denim jacket and black top with white flower motifs on the front and blue jeans.

Police are appealing for anyone who was on Marine Parade, Dover during the early hours of Saturday 10 March, or who have seen David since that time, to come forward.

CCTV footage shows David in Dover Town Centre at that time and a still image from that is now being released in the hope people may remember seeing him.

Det Insp Steve Bridges said: "Due to the length of time that David has been missing we are concerned for his welfare and would welcome the assistance of the public in finding him."

Anyone with information is asked to contact DI Steve Bridges at Dover Police Station on 01304 240055.
