Following ongoing successful community partnership working in Dover Town Centre, agencies worked together to identify and assist a missing person in the town recently. Parking Attendants noticed an individual acting in an unusual way and contacted CCTV using radios issued by DPAC (Dover Partnership Against Crime). Police in the area, who heard the call through their DPAC radios, were directed to the individual by CCTV operators, and Police were able to assist the young person.

Nadeem Aziz, Chief Executive of Dover District Council and Chairman of the Dover Community Safety Partnership, said: "Partnership working to tackle community safety issues in Dover District is very successful. This incident is an example of how successful that relationship is to the benefit of the community."
