Man Suffers Serious Head Injuries After Attack In Town Centre

A man is in a London hospital with serious head injuries following an attack in Dover town centre on Friday night.

The 32-year-old man, who lives in Gillingham, was discovered in Biggin Street at about 9pm. Police say his wallet had been taken.

He is in King's College Hospital in London in a serious but stable condition.

Police said they believe there were a number of people - including taxi drivers - in the area at the time of the incident, and they have appealed to them to come forward with any information.
