Dover District Council elected its Chairman and Leader and appointed the Cabinet at the Annual Council Meeting on 16 May 2007.
The Leader of Dover District Council is Cllr Paul Watkins, with the following Portfolio Holders: Cllr Frederick Scales, Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Economy and Special Projects; Cllr Nigel Collor, Cabinet Member for Access and Property Management; Cllr Mrs Julie Rook, Cabinet Member for Citizenship and Consumer Affairs; Cllr Nicholas Kenton, Cabinet Member for Environment and Planning; Cllr Mrs Sue Nicholas, Cabinet Member for Housing and Community; Cllr Trevor Bartlett, Cabinet Member for Corporate Performance and Human Resources; Cllr Stephen Manion, Cabinet Member for Corporate Resources and ICT; Cllr Christopher Smith, Cabinet Member for Partnerships and External Affairs; and Cllr Patrick Heath, Cabinet Member for Public Health and Protection.
The Chairman of the Council is Cllr Bernard Butcher and Vice Chairman is Cllr Roger Frayne.
