A teenager sailed into the Port of Dover on Wednesday night on her way around the United Kingdom.
Katie Miller, 18, from Lichfield, aims to raise a minimum of £10,000 for The Ellen MacArthur Trust by circumnavigating the UK during the next three months. She will cover a total of 2,300 miles.
Sailing her 21ft-Newbridge Corribee, called Elektra, Katie set sail from Gosport at the weekend, arriving at Brighton on Sunday night and Eastbourne on Monday. She berthed at Dover overnight on Wednesday before setting off for Ramsgate on Thursday morning.
