Police Appeal For Witnesses After Fatal Road Collision

Police are appealing for witnesses after a fatal road collision between Dover and Deal at 5.45 pm on Sunday evening.

A blue SEAT Leon was travelling along Station Road, St Margaret's at Cliff and then turned onto the A258 towards Dover when it was involved in a collision with a silver Citreon Saxo.

The driver of the Citreon, a 24-year-old man from Deal died a short while later. A passenger in the Citreon, a local 22-year-old woman was taken to the William Harvey Hospital where she is being treated for an injury to her shoulder. A 2-year-old child who was in the car was unhurt.

The driver of the SEAT, a 21-year-old man from Densole and his passenger, a 16-year-old girl from Sandwich, were uninjured.
