As part of the seasonal celebrations, Dover District Council has announced free parking in Council-owned car parks and pay and display areas on-street in Dover on 25 November (the day of the Christmas Lights Switch-On Event), 16 December and 23 December.
Free parking will be available from 10am and relates to pay and display parking only - yellow lines, limited waiting areas and designated parking spaces will be enforced as usual.
Other areas also covered are Deal on 20, 21 and 22 December, and Sandwich on 2, 14 and 21 December.
