Christmas Lights Switched On At Veterinary Surgery

Thursday, 14 December 2006
The Christmas lights have been switched on at the Burnham House Veterinary Surgery in Castle Street, Dover.

Vet Jeremy Stattersfield invited along some little friends to perform the switch-on ceremony, bringing a colourful scene to life.

As well as dancing penguins and a bear, the display includes Christmas songs and bubbles being blown out across the pavement.

It's all the work of local craftsmen Ken Mennie, Barry Irvine and Mark Wells who, with Jeremy, always put on a good display for the festive season.
