Peter R , can you update us on the latest UKIP Branch line up. Comings, goings etc.
Some of your more recent local mouthpieces appear to be "ploughing a different furrow".
I'm sure, you, like me, prefer consistency rather than opportunism.

It's common knowledge that G. Morris has resigned as Chairman Paul, but not heard of any other changes in personnel.

I seem to remember that name Howard.
Did he not post on the Forum?

Not to my knowledge Paul, he used to post under two pseudonyms on the now defunct "locals" site and under his real name on the Dover Express website.

Oh yes I recollect. Had a certain style ! I won't try to describe it.
He was not amongst the others I was told about.
I'm sure it will become apparent but would prefer Peter R. [for whom I have great regard] to help to avoid unnecessary rumours.

Good Morning. Thank you Paul for your kind words.I hope you and your family had a good Christmas. I know this year has been a testing time for you and your family.
I am flattered that you have time off from wrestling with the council tax increase figures to think of me.
I am not aware of changes or rumours. I was unable to attend the pre Christmas meeting of UKIP, because for most of December, I was on jury service but I understand friends and colleagues had a good time.I will relay your concerns and of course, your good wishes.
I assume your rather offhand comment of Graham Morris is that you are still devastated by the loss of Gordon Cowan and Ben Bano. How you must miss their sparkling wit in the council chamber at Whitfield.
All political parties have nuances for example the Labour party are born again Socialists with Clair and Peter Wallace vying for the crown. and its good that Charlie and Craig have kissed and madeup.
Finally I wish you A Very Happy and Healthy New Year.
A Happy New Year to Jan, Howard, Ray, Brian Peter G and all other forum users

Happy New Year to you too Peter, so you are not aware of any changes. Done jury service myself at the Old Bailey in the late 70's quite an eye opener. The first case my group was called up for had 7 young Black defendants and society had a different attitude then. The defence barristers can refuse potential jurors if they think that their client would not be treated impartially.
A woman in her 60's, sitting next to me, carrying the Daily Mail got up and the shout came up "challenge", I sniggered to myself and the same barrister noted I was wearing a suit and tie came out with "and you too".

Dover and Deal UKIP and other parties were manning a stall on behalf of Grassroots Out{GO]
outside Dover Town Council offices last Saturday morning..I understand the response from the people of Dover was very positive.I will be helping in the near future in Deal and Dover.
I will let everyone know of the venues and dates

Didn't see any prior notification of that Peter and I do look at the UKIP website which is ages out of date and you fast moving Facebook page. Your parliamentary candidate has moved his business interest fairly far from Dover and it is must be difficult to keep a close on things here.
We hear that your campaign director has an interest (just a rumour at this stage) in the vacant town council seat, interesting political times.

Good morning Howard. The headline of this thread is UKIP changes?? The new team lead by our very able, energetic Chairperson will resolve the above issues.

All very cryptic Peter but no mention of who the new Chairperson will be or the new energetic team.

It must be all smoke and mirrors, the truth is probably that there is no Dover and Deal UKIP any longer, certainly easier to get in the Masons than ukip locally.
