The blame game starts ........
Coalition has been forced to take decisions that are not in national interest, says David Cameron
The Prime Minister issued his strongest comments yet on
the troubles faced by the Conservatives and Liberal Democrats
The Coalition has been forced to take decisions that are not in the national interest, David Cameron admitted on Thursday.
The Prime Minister issued his strongest comments yet on the troubles faced by the Conservatives and Liberal Democrats in implementing policies and as they navigate the next 18 months before the next election. At a business leaders conference in the Indian capital Delhi, Mr Cameron said he had been forced to make compromises with the Liberal Democrats to make governing work.
The PM told leading Indian broadcaster Rajdeep Sardesai: "I would prefer not to have a Coalition. We were confronted with a hung parliament after the election with a country in economic crisis. The most important thing to do was to get on and form a government...and make it work.
"We've shown it can work. And actually the good parts of Coalition are because you have these arguments within government and you have to proceed on a rational basis - that's good.
"I think what's bad about it is that sometimes you have to make compromises that are not necessarily in the long-term interests of the country."

Strikes me as a scare story but I agree the uncertainty does no good at all.

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

No wonder the tories are in turmoil. Just watched Ed Davey on question time. He either deluded or in need of urgent medical help or both. With weirdos like him on the coalition influencing government policy we are seriously stuffed. Of course then we have the acceptable face of the unions on the panel, Paul Kenny, who is equally deluded. Not to mention some freak in the audience calling for the end of plastic bags to stop typhoons.
It's like bedlam out there. It's as if the audience and most of the panel are made up of cb radio enthusiasts putting the world to rights after fifteen pints of lager.
Otherwise very refreshing television.

Cameron inflames climate change emissions row
Britain should keep cutting carbon emissions even if there is only a 60 per cent chance they are causing climate change, David Cameron said yesterday. In a swipe at sceptics, the Prime Minister compared action to prevent global warming to house insurance, saying that it was the right thing to do "even if you are less certain than the scientists". Mr Cameron also provoked a row by saying there was growing evidence that man-made climate change was responsible for disasters such as Typhoon Haiyan, which killed more than 3,500 people in the Philippines last week. His comments came as Japan became the latest industrialised nation to scale back its commitments to cut greenhouse

It turns out that Cameron is a bigger fool than even I imagined if he thinks that Typhoon Haiyan was evidence of, cough cough, man made climate change. If this prize dunce can get it so wrong on this imagine how he gets it wrong on so many other issues.
Even the warmist met office tell us there is no link.
Vote tory get more expensive energy bills and de-industrialization.
Having said that vote for the liberals and labour and get exactly the same.
I guess it's easier for the likes of him to fight an imaginary enemy rather than deal with real world problems.
