Hm, do you think I should advise the Daily Star to hang onto the artwork for copying and pasting in due course?

Liz Truss today spoke to Ukraine's President Zelensky about the ongoing crisis.
Zelensky promised to provide all the assistance he could.

I think it's interesting the Tories are clear there going to look after high earners , whilst the country crumbles.
This is the first time for a long time they have been quite open on this .

"a distraction".
Is this the new phrase for 'I did no wrong', not a good start for his now doubtful job, so very embarrassing for all involved.

Did it suddenly become a 'distraction' between Truss's vehement confirmation that she would change nothing at 9am yesterday and the announcement this morning? Still, like all Brexiteers, they believe they can get away with treating the public like idiots. And mostly they can.

Hmmm.
"So day three of Conference. What is it like? It’s like a wake, but no-one’s sure if the corpse is the Conservative Party or just Liz Truss’s ministry and, like every good wake, everyone’s getting smashed".

No one to blame except the MPs and the members who voted Truss in.
I have yet to understand why she won, maybe racism played a part although I would not have voted for Sumak either, both followers of Boris.

Since Truss took over she does appear to not know where she's heading .
They looked bad before she took over, looking worse now

Meanwhile, according to the i 's political editor, we have this n the fraternal yet broad church Tory party: 'Another backbencher, formerly a member of the Cabinet, added: “She is there despite MPs, not because of them. Most of us don’t actually think Truss is very good. A lot of what they are doing is only going to appeal to the Faragesque wing of the party, and they are already supportive."'
Not sure what 'Faragesque' means tbh; possibly some kind of ball or conference where everyone wears a mask?

I cannot believe the mess they've made in such a short space of time. All for tax cuts that nobody even asked for - just a habitual obsession with the members. Astonishing incompetence. The only way she can survive this is to sacrifice Kwarteng and say it was all his mad idea (even though we know that's not the case).

Quiet though some may think Natalie to be, Hansard picked up this PMQ exchange:
NE: Following the loss of 27 lives last winter in the channel, the UK Government offered joint patrols to the French on the beaches. Can my right hon. Friend the Prime Minister confirm that she renewed that offer to President Macron when they met and, further, that there will be no new money and no fresh agreement with the French unless they agree to joint beach patrols and joint security across the channel to bring an end to the small boats crisis for good?
LT: The Home Secretary is committed to dealing with this very difficult issue of the small boats in the channel. We do need to sort it out. We are committed to legislating and to getting an agreement with the French Government. I did discuss it with President Macron last week, and the Home Secretary is following up.
PMQs there certainly are, PMAs are a little harder to spot, I suggest.
