a busy weekend for the local reds as they attempt to make contact with 1000 voters, starting here in north deal.
a break at the new inn deal.
finishing at the chippie in telegraph street with jasin kaplan. that name rings a bell either dover leisure centre, sea sports centre or deal pier.

The reds keep this up and thy will walk all over the rest of the partys you have to hand to them they are doing what all the party should do out in the towns and round the streets the only way to win votes, and they also know where to go and out in numbers.
I will never vote red but I hold my hands up to them for doing what they do,
The blues will not get back in Dover unless they get rid of their MP he is not liked even by his own District council.
It does look like at this time the reds will get back in unless UKIP can get out there in the same way as the reds but they have a lot of ground to make up from 2000votes to 23000votes they need members out each day and a lot more help from their HQ in the way of funding.
Must say if I was still there like last time we would be out in the towns and going from street to street .
But I could not do that anymore but that is the only way to stop the reds,

Not wishing to Labour the point, but could be 'a peeling' to some. Why the lemon pose?

Thank you for showing that.
Yes he was a good all rounder and one which the whole family could go and see.
And that is just what I done in the late 1950s he came to Dover on the stage two times and we went to both of them.

Is that a Deal Loyalty type of card ? If so, why is Labour involved - or any political party come to that ?
The Dover Loyalty sceme was pretty successful in the 2 years that I ran it, but I couldn't make it grow without any financial, or even moral, support, so had to close it. It cost me too much money - my own money, as I wasn't taking anything from it at all, only the knowledge that I was helping local businesses.
A number of local businesses started up their own Loyalty Scheme after that.

My hairdresser has a loyalty card which they mark every time I have a cut and blow dry, when full I get my hair done for free.

Labour obviously have nothing to say by way of important policy information all they can manage are the boring endless pictures of their grinning red clad candidate.

I was at Dover Town Hall on Friday night .The event was called Ask Charlie. Charlie Elphicke did his usual waffling. David Little asked a good question and was cheered but Clair asked a question and was booed..I felt sorry for Clair, she was on her own, no other members of the Labour party were there to support her.In my experience of politics you do not let your candidate go to any event without support. Clair looked a lonely figure.
