I haven't seen Charlie for a while but I have always found him approachable and certainly never rude.

I plan to work for the NHS for the rest of my life, so voting for the tories would be like a turkey voting for Christmas.
No idea how it'll end up in Dover, but Stacey has got my vote that's for sure.

Mr Heart, when Charlie was elected in 2010 I worked hard for him canvassing delivering leaflets etc .I retired from the council in 2011 so I have not worked for the party since.I worked for over forty years in local politics so I think I deserve better.By the way he was educated at Felsted school where my mother worked as a house maid having left school at 14.They had to live on site it was called service in those days Just saying.

I also wish to cast my vote for the next resident of 10 Downing Street, rather than a constituency candidate; alas, I fear the ballot paper will not enable me to support Larry.
(Not my real name.)

I think Charlie needs bringing down a peg or two or to use another saying he has got too big for his boots.

Charlie Elphicke will get voted back in, unfortunately.
The opposition to him, is too weak.

I think like Sue in this election many will have voted for the party rather than the candidate. I know that is how I and some others I know voted.

In memory of the great John Noakes, I'm using sticky backed plastic to laminate a pass for the count.
I shall the one getting into camera shot with the sign saying 'Hello Bishop and Howard'.

Post#851 . Its really a case of holding your nose and voting. Which I said to Phil Hayes last week.
Good luck to all the candidates standing..Hopefully the losing candidate who comes
second, doesn't give a petulant speech similar to Clair Hawkins'speech at the 2015 election count.
Clair's rant was really cringeworthy and not dignified.
Stacey seems more grounded.

Bob. If Charlie does win. Please don't gloat .Cllrs Mike Eddy and Cowan get very upset.
If Charlie loses.Make sure he doesn't stamp his feet too hard. Not good for his ankles.

Interesting Peter did Phil give any clues as to how he will vote?

Exit polls suggest a Hung Parliament. Wow! I didn't see that one coming.

I do hope you are singing merrily to the organ playing (definitely no pun or insinuation intended). Will it be a dirge, a muted celebration or a triumphal march? (Interesting Desert Welly footwear noted in #852, by the way.)
