On average, someone on a “zero-hours contract” usually works 25 hours a week. In comparison 9% of other people in employment wanted more hours.
Your first sentence forgets to list the
vulnerable. The second fails to mention the amount of time people turn up for work but get turned away as there isn't any for them. The third misrepresents; there is a semantic difference between 'want' and 'need' - has the question been loaded in a way that skews the outcome and presents the answers in a more favourable light?

For some, the power of praying; for others, the power of prying. She'll be prey to much of the Brighton fringe electorate. I'll pray for her soul.

The Greens take the lead in the bribes stakes with a shorter working week on full pay and a universal basic income.

Where the Greens come out on top is their respect for our environment.

What I find interesting here is that the Welsh voted overwhelmingly for us to leave the EU and Cruella is trying to make the election all about that. Two weeks ago her plan was working but now that national issues are on the table the tide turns against her.

I noticed that on the DDC website and yes only Charlie gives out his squat. Councillors have to give full addresses and contact details, clearly this doesn't apply at national level.

Not a problem. The little darlings are far too lazy to get out of bed and go down the polling station in time. See Brexit referendum where about 64% of registered voters aged 18-24 went to polls, , but 90% of over-65s voted.

Just imagine. Threat level CRITICAL and Diane Abbott as Home Secretary. Enough said?

After seeing the shambolic performance of the Prime Minister on Monday even the threat of Abbott loses the shock effect. EU negotiators must be chuckling to themselves.

To be fair Andrew Neil is a lot scarier than any EU negotiator will ever be.
The captain is right but I think the 64% figure is over egging it a bit, I'm sure the actual figure was half of that. We have two young adults in our house and although at the moment they are saying they will vote at the General Election, I am absolutely convinced when it comes to it they wont have the energy or inclination to get off their lazy ar*es and walk to the polling station. Parents of other kids their age say the same thing. The lazy and can't be bothered generation.

1) Andrew Neil should be put in charge of our EU negotiations! I've never seen a politician get the better of him.
2) The 64% is taken from Guardian article linked to reputable polling company

3) The threat of Abbott can never lose its shock effect.

Is it laziness or is it that they don't see how politics is relevant to them? Hardly any under 24s will have children so the schools budget cuts won't affect them and they are unlikely to use NHS services other than to get a sick note. The one thing that affects many is working tax credits, they have always had them but wouldn't know which party brought them in and which party intends to cut them.

Charlie has made today a campaign free day, hopefully this will get through to his helpers who were delivering leaflets in at least two parts of town yesterday.
