As a Mancunian I find it hard to explain just how much I resent that Howard!
Meanwhile in Maidstone, perhaps a sub-editor might have been an idea? : -

Rumour has it that a rank outsider from Deal has been made PPC, should hear confirmation later today. The name suggests a good Labour pedigree.

I know Stacey, lovely girl who used to work at the leisure centre, sorry to say but totally out of her depth.
Likewise Beccy, I think she lives in De Burgh Street, very nice lady, no idea why she's standing.

I think the Greens are after those who are disenchanted with Labour. Having seen some of the reports about what happens in Brighton where the Greens have the majority, there is no way I could ever vote for them.

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

To be fair to all whilst I'm sure Beccy would love to cause an upset as would other candidates, but in reality it does give supporters of these parties someone to vote for.
Most knowing there vote won't elect that candidate.
Labour has obviously given up on the Dover seat, rather sad really when I thought Dover was one of the seats that labour had to win to get into number10
Charlie must be laughing his socks off
Labour candidate must be pleased there wont be any hustings due to time
