Capt Haddock, the Telegraph report is naive at best and rather disingenuous. Prepared to discuss if you genuinely don't understand.

Pretty dire article, for a start the Liverpool MP has not been deselected, on another point the writer who happens to be Jewish and writes for the Jewish Chronicle clearly doesn't understand the difference between anti semitism and anti zionism.

I forward the following motion:
Those members that have disagreed with the views of one Mr McSweeney1 must face mandatory deselection from the Politics Forum.

To be fair they've always been concerned about him and the swathes of people that back him. The reality is that the Tories believed that New Labour would oust him before his message got out to the nation. The Labour members have shown their backing twice over, with increasing confidence too. Many Labour MPs misread the actual views of their members and have subsequently had to eat humble pie, or done the honorable thing and stepped away (notably Tristram Hunt and Jamie Reed). Now that the Labour MPs are more subservient to the will of the members, Jeremy Corbyn and the Shadow Cabinet can get on with opposition to government rather than have flak at that back as well.
Think back to his time last year - both main parties in flux. Now the present day - one main party in flux. Anyone brave enough to predict July 2018?

What Labour Party members want your Grace, is a huge expansion of social provision of housing, education, health etc which is exactly what the supporters of Jezza's hero Hugo Chavez voted for.
This is why the economy of Venezuela is today in freefall with riots on the streets.
Socialism -ALWAYS fails whem it runs out of other people's money to spend.
