Did Jeremy Corbyn turn out for Armed Forces day as well as Glastonbury?
I hear there will be uproar about, why Dover Town Council didn't fly the Union Flag at the council office today when Veterans and cadets marched in Dover.

This has happened before and the flak got passed around RBL local branch, Councillor Wanstall and of course the Town Clerk were equally blamed.

Wasn't he supposed to be the weak leader and the other one strong and stable?

To be fair it is easy in opposition, and obviously he would have supported the miners in there struggle

It is easy for Corbyn to be feted in Labour supported areas, to really succeed he needs success in the Tory strongholds but to get that he needs to visit those areas.

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

Tory strongholds are just that and there is no point in him visiting. His present strength is having the votes of youngish metropolitan types some of whom are graduates. Quite rightly he is working on getting back the traditional Labour vote that drifted to UKIP and the miner's gala shows that he is right in doing so as Tony Blair never attended and voters up there are aware of that. Other than vote winning his rallies inspire his disciples so that if an election is suddenly called they are ready to do the door knocking stuff that helps to bring victory.

Certainly the result opened the eyes of many even I to be honest didn't expect him to do as well as he did.

Howard, Dover has never been a Tory stronghold, he could always visit places like this. #357

Being ahead before any election is announced means nothing as Theresa May found out.

While Jezza carries on being a bit of a cult the real work is being done by the hard left operating behind the scenes.
