My Sportsman of the year ( decade ) Bradley Wiggins has succumbed to the Twofold First Services
tax avoidance scheme. He regards himself as a `fiercely proud British Citizen`and only has a small
percentage of his £ 5 million pa income invested.....to protect our hero`s from the temptation we must
close down these avoidance tax loopholes. The Twofold scheme has 235 investors avoiding paying British Tax.
Ebay only pays £ 1.2 million on £ 800 million sales.......

Better still lets hope the govt cuts tax in half for everybody, then we've all got more money to spend to get the economy moving.

What's this, David 'call me Dave' Little? You are sailing very close to the coalition's cast of mind.
We once had Gordon with his 0.00% growth.
Now those lucky-lucky blighters who have been so miraculously raised up out from income tax can then have their 0.00% halved too.
By my calculations that would give these folk twice 0.00 to spend. Why not go the whole hog and calculate this to six decimal places and make them all millionaires overnight?
Ignorance is bliss, bliss is happiness, I am happy...to draw your attention to the possible connectivity in the foregoing.

This thread really is way beyond parody and is past its sell-by-date by a mile.

What are you on about?
Until we cut tax and spending we're going nowhere, this useless govt has increased spending. I trust myself to spend my money wisely not inept politicians.

good point from tom the people with least income spend the higher proportion of it straight away than those doimg alright for themselves.
many at the bottom have been moved out of paying income tax so they will not gain by cutting the rate.

David, if the Government cut tax in half for everybody, the Country would go bust overnight.
There would be just one job left to do: switch the lights out!
