BarryW.
I actually have plenty to say but again I am disappointed that you continue to cherry-pick your response's to my posts.
I always read yours and other posts, fully and respond to all their points, that way; I get to learn something, even if I don't agree with it.
Actually, I have just realised, that after reading many posts on here, some things that I did not agree with before I joined, have changed.
Now that I am getting a fuller picture on things I previously knew very little about, some things have changed for me.
However, certain things will never change and will never be forgot but to me, they are not an obstacle, I carry them with pride and will not allow them to become a burden.

It is wrong to wonder if, or to ask if, things will change. Things are changing all the time. The wonderment is all about just how things will change.
There is certainly only one single thing in this whole Universe that we each CAN change and that is ourself.
So, if you do not commit yourself to change then nothing else is likely to change either;
If you do not vote and continue that way...
If you vote out of habit...
If you vote ONLY to ensure that 'X,Y or Z' does not win...
If you continue to believe the same old toot that has proven to be nothing but lies over the years...

partly agree with tom, when a general election comes along i vote for the party i dislike least.
however when we have town/district elections i have 7 votes and normally use between 3 and 5.
party labels are irrelevant at that level and i just vote for whoever i think will do something locally or at least try to.
so far i have not been proved wrong.
