I am not sure why people should be compelled to lose their assets. Anyone of any income.

It is of course the policies of the last government that is making people poorer. Irresponsible state spending building up a massive structural deficit at the point in the economic cycle when the deficit should have been balanced. Labour created an illusion of wealth and prosperity that was no more than a bubble that has burst.

But let me list some of the measure that you oppose which will increase employment Keith:
..Reducing the top rate of tax initially to 40p
..Introducing simpler, lower and flat taxes so we all pay the same
..Reducing the risks involved in employing people by cutting red tape and making it easier to sack people
..Reducing the tax burden on businesses with some proper cuts to public spending
..Ensuring the UK has the lowest corporate and personal taxes in Europe to attract inward investment (what Frances Maude was talking about)
That is just a few. You cannot have it both ways.

Surely these tax-dodging pranksters, as mentioned in the above link, must be a disgrace to the Tory party.

It seems to me the chap who uses a private jet is being rather inventive - much to me admired. He should come to Dover and try cross channel trips instead as its a lot cheaper as he does sound a bit tight.... Many local ferry workers used to do the same kind of thing, not sure if they are still able to do so because of shift changes etc.

They would have to take their cars nowadays Barry, no night crossings for foot passengers any more.

One would have thought the 2.2 billion £ wouldn't fit in Ecclestone's gob; but apparently it does and isn't enough.
