glencore certainly are a well run company if you are a shareholder, not so if you live in the third world and are trying to feed a family.

Courtesy The Times.......
``Charity` at heart of massive Tax Avoidance scam.
Cup Trust raised £ 176 million but only donated £ 55,000 to good causes.
Instead of using the money for its stated objective.....to improve the lives of young children and adults......it was artificially
used by the ``Donors``to reduce their Tax bill........
Investors who `donated` £ One Million to the `charity` ` not only receive most of their money back......they also enjoyed
a Claim Gift Aid worth between £ 250,000 and £ 375,000.
The Mastermind behind this sick scam is Matthew Jenner who lives a life of luxury being the boss of NT....No Tax...Advisors.
How low can these Financial Johnnies get ?.......you ain`t seen nothing yet...........

Not all David`s are or assist the elite greedy pigs.
David Beckham donates his £ Two Million Paris St Germain salary to a Paris Children s Charity.
What a star !

JACKPOT !...Bookies `avoid` £ One Billion Tax.
Big gambling firms are using tax havens and Treasury still have not closed the loophole.
It is obvious Tax avoidance and evasion is at epidemic proportions among the elite greedy pigs.
There is an enormous source of revenue for the Treasury and nation .......

Just to reassure people - you do not have to use these very, very expensive 'top' accountants to set up tax saving schemes. I know a very good East Kent accountant who is able to do so at a fraction of the cost. If anyone wants some help in the setting up of such schemes I would be happy to pass on their contact details in total confidence. Please note, only legal schemes will be utilised, this accountant quite rightly will not even contemplate doing anything remotely illegal.
For some simpler tax saving advice I can also help, again only legal stuff will be contemplated.
We all have a public duty to keep the greedy grasping hands of government off our assets as much as the law allows. It is not only the wealthy who have options here.

I would also like to publicly thank those, like Reg, who highlight the tax savings opportunities that are out there. My accountant friend has never been busier thanks to this publicity and I too have been having a record year but that is more to do with the demand for good investment advice rather than tax saving.
It has been a good year for us 'Finance Johnnies', or at least those of us who have stayed away from the banks and an even better year for those who come to us for advice Thank you again for your support.

Caring means not supporting policies that damage the economy, otherwise it is just meaningless talk.

Its just a cliche Keith like "a living wage" "a caring society" and "paying your fair share".
As Barry says, its meaningless

David reminds me of the scariest words in the English language 'I care' spoken by a politician and the most dangerous words 'I care and I am going to do something about it' again when spoken by a politician. Then there is the definition of naivety, believing a politician who says 'he cares' and the definition of stupidity, voting for him!!!

It may have escaped the attention of many, but in France, with a top tax rate of 75%, DB will enjoy annual tax relief of £1,500,000 as a result of this very generous gesture.
