"It is possible that is how Labour managed to gain Canterbury by targeting those who are more likely to believe whatever they are told. I hope the other parties are invited to try and brainwash these young people. "
How could you think such a thing Jan, politicians are not like that.

Only difference is, he is the local MP and doesn't preach politics when he does these visits.

I take a very different view.
Without doubt Charlie and charlotte visit schools purely to get elected.
I spent many years visiting schools finding out what pupils were thinking
we are asked to get imput from as wide ranging people as we can.
I went in with a lib dem and conservative Cllr at the time
as then there were no other parties.
I think its all looking grim for labour in any general election and Mays district elections

Brian, if it is to do with the vast majority of politicians of any party or level the answer is yes.

I agree Brian use your vote wisely
But that said not voting will also leave us with the mess we are in
So not voting may not be the answer either

Getting back to the thread Charlotte and her team have carried out four canvassing sessions over the weekend which will pay off at the council elections next May. Previously the local party knocks on doors predominantly in the run up to elections only.
