There's more, Kimmie. This explains why the real raging Brexiteers - the likes of Redwood, Baker, Cash, Francois were not offered any Ministerial positions.....because they would never sign up to it. Yet those that have voted for the previous withdrawal agreement have - Rees Mogg, Patel etc.
Exactly, Button. Why else would he paint a bus?!

...of course Baker was offered a position, but one that the PM knew he would reject.

Ah, so now I understand. Major doesn't count because he was a 'wimp'. The (now resigned) Ruth Davidson doesn't count because she has her own agenda. The fact that every Tory PM from MacMillan to Cameron wanted us to benefit from the single market and a close association to Europe is also presumably irrelevant.
Yet the mendacious, opportunist chameleon Johnson who has never seemed to make a single move not motivated by his own self-aggrandizement, who uses terms like 'piccaninnies' and 'bum boys', is a proven philanderer, publicly bellows the mantra 'f**k business', has no democratic mandate other than the vote of Tory members is now seen as the leader to advance our country. You may not have a Tory party to support so unquestioningly for very much longer, Sue.

Oh I think that I can see now why you are a committed remainer based on the link you posted Brian!
By staying in and supporting the EU aims we might find, if they pursue their dream of a United States of Europe, our youngsters could be conscripted into their European army!
This would not resolve our industries shortage of
cheap labour as there would need to be a large conscription of youngsters throughout Europe to enable this to happen, with the accompanying increased costs to all members of course.
France is currently thinking ahead on this by leaking 'immigrants' into the UK in larger numbers. This will go some way in upping the labour available,
IF we can find them again and can persuade them to work!
I am aware that there may be other concerns with Brexit but we should also be more optimistic about what we could achieve should it happen.
It may not be all doom and gloom!!!

Interesting theory emerging, that the EU themselves will offer to remove the 31 October deadline (the UK would still have to agree). That stunningly simple move would completely box Boris in as he would then be on the hook for any no deal, which of course he is desperate to avoid.

We will Kimberley if too many people do what Brian says he is doing:
Brian Dixon wrote:well now ready for Brexit day, well stocked wit 4 months worth of food. plus some back up in storage.
But I really think he may be exaggerating a bit if he thinks he can eat 4 months worth of food on Brexit day..........
