i keep thinking of the citadel but that is full of current tourists.

Nice to see it cleaned up. A couple of years ago the lower parts were covered in graffiti and it was a regular meeting place for gangs of yobs. JHG will will recall.

correct alex but the sign in frith street in the grounds says "charlton church".
