it would be nice to have the grand shaft open from easter to october along with other tourist attractions in and around dover,plus flowers all over the place.

with regard to flowers just look at folkestone/sandgate(under a small parish council) and all the lovely flowers looks so nice, makes people that much more cheerful.

but dover is depressing at the moment would be good if everyone came together and helped but wont ever happen

at least the fountain is now in operation, just needs the flowers now.

howard,with your obsession with flowers in planter thingys in mind,as i waled up from the libary i had a look at the planters.in one of them i saw a giant weed growing and a caption poped to mind to put in the planters,it go's somthing like this.
a placard just behind the weed saying this,
hello my name is weed have you seen my frinds bill and ben the flower pot men be cause i am getting lonly here by myself.

That is really awful, the town centre version of Dover in Bloom.
Oh! I forgot we are getting plants NEXT month at least two months too late.

It is such a shame such a small costing thing, but makes a place look that much brighter takes so long.

spotted this trouble maker in the town centre today.
will not give an exact location as we would be invaded by the horticutural equivalent of twitchers.
