I have had no problem, I run Norton 360 which people keep telling me is no good slows the PC etc. It is expensive but as it works I am loathe to change it.

Norton used to have a reputation for being slow, but it's improved a lot I think. I tried it out and found it quite unobtrusive. I may well change to it when my existing ESET licencse runs out.

Switched on the computer this morning no problems, visited several sites again nothing, as soon as I went to the front/home page and was trying to read the bit about Jeane being in Woman this week bang the blasted pop ups were back it has taken me nearly all day to get rid of them. again A.V.G. managed to kick in between each pop up and i managed to get it to do a scan, this is getting silly now what on earth is going on, it only happens when I go on to the forum,

I wonder if there has been some sort of update or add on which has caused it?

The one I'm getting is JS/Iframe.CD trojan My Eset Smart Security just terminates the connection and quarantines it, then when I try again it's ok. It's been ok since this morning.

Has anyone had any more problems?
I have been avoiding the forum because of this but have dared to come back on because I am really missing it!

It seems ok now whatever it was. I haven't had an alert for nearly a week.
Unfortunately I am not very savvy about all this but I have had my Notebook freeze both on the Forum and on FAcebook - I thought the Notebook was dying but it seems it may be a virus tho' at terrific cost I have just renewed my McAfee subscription.

Diana - are you with BTInternet as I get free AV software with my broadband package ?
Been nice knowing you :)
I am with BT internet but no-one ever said I had free AV software. I believe I had 3 months free with McAfee when I bought it and thereafter had to pay. Its about £50 which is quite a lot when on a budget and when I would rather spend the money on pastels and paper!
