i have been asked by the family of colin to announce that colin has passed away peacefully at home earlier this afternoon.
it is of course too early to know about the funeral arrangements, maybe in time we will know and give us a chance to pay our last respects.
rest in peace mate.

What very sad news. It seems such a short time ago that Colin was walking about the town, taking photos and posting them on the forum for us all to enjoy and discuss. He will be much missed.
RIP Colin.

I am so very sorry to hear that. My sincere condolences to his family. Although I never met Colin in person, I am so pleased to have met him via the forum. He seemed such a lovely man and I thoroughly enjoyed his photos and posts. He will be greatly missed. May he rest in peace free of pain.

those who have seen colin in the last few weeks will have been astounded by his stoicism in the face of a dreadful illness.

Very sad indeed - thanks for letting us know Howard.
A lovely man, caring and considerate with a good sense of humour; I remember when he put a new thread on here, calling it a new topic and there was a photo of a topic bar unopened - made us all smile I believe.
RIP Colin, condolences to his family
