Keith, in fact I was agreeing with you in the previous posts, that the Dover and Deal branch is not on the national UKIP website under the list of branches, whereas Folkestone and Hythe is.
But one would think the local chairman would look into this, especially after being alerted to the fact on both Dover forums by various local people.
In fact Vic keeps asking people to join the party, to email him, but people can't find the branch on the offical website.
Incidentally, as I pointed out on this thread, the website that does have the Dover and Deal address, which is the South East one, gives a different person as the man to contact in order to join, namely Ron Beaton, who has resigned, and it doesn't give Vic Matcham's address.
Hence it is puzzling, and makes one wonder why Vic always refers to himself as the man to contact, when online facts evidently tell a different story.
Maybe UKIP is careful not to give almighty-like authority to one person, and is wary about Vic, which could explain why he does not rate so high on the official contact lists, contrary to his own assertions.
Of-course I may be wrong here, but then this buggars the question as to who to contact if one wants to forward a message to a local UKIP branch in the Dover and Deal area: it seems to be either Folkestone and Hythe or Ron Beaton.
And Vic?
