Look out for the small Skoda hatchback ,white and on east europe number plates. Its one of the roughest cars i,ve ever seen, runs around delivering takeaways, its in a disgusting state and usually with at least two people both smoking, what a nice way to get your food delivered.I,m sure it will continue without challenge.

Nice to see a ceo getting a foreign hgv up Coombe Valley road this morning. These are a blight in residential streets when they leave litter, bottles of urine and faeces everywhere bloody disgusting down in the Elizabeth and Hawkesbury street areas ....

Here's Andy B's favourite car getting a ticket! That front wing flaps about in the breeze.
This VW has been getting a weekly ticket for several months.

Wardens were out this morning for a change and amongst their victims was a small Slovak registered car. Normally it gets left alone but I'm wondering that as said car has been around here for several years it now qualifies for punishment.

Just noticed one in Effingham Crescent partly on the path, facing the wrong way, with at least 1 parking ticket on it, plus a couple of hand-written notes probably asking why it's still there.

Saw that earlier Karl and not surprised that a self obsessed egotist is telling us what we have known for years.

Wardens out in force this morning, amongst their haul was the usual Czech registered van. We are told that there are procedures in place for collecting unpaid fines in the country of origin but I can't see how this works in practice. The authorities in Prague in this case would surely only have the owner's original home address and not the current one two doors from me.

They might say that procedures are in place to collect fines but i doubt that they do,its probably just to create calm amongst us all to see that others are not just getting away with it.Its often difficult enough to trace owners of some cars here where they dont bother registering them so what chance chance have they with some of these foreign reg cars.As for mot you dont have to be a mechanic to see that some would never pass a uk mot test, tyres worn down to the cords, door sills almost rotted away and as mentioned in the past very little ol bill to deal with anything anymore so just do what you like.

The owner must live in the Medway area so I don't see the point of employing overseas bailiffs.

Maybe time to bring in a law or policy where only a set amount of fines can be reached then remove the car and sell to cover said fines.
