Many thanks...the roasted-pumpkin-soup-with-melting-Gruyere-cheese wins for our soup and the pie looks superb....
.....problem is we have five pumpkins weighing 104 lbs....53 lbs....42 lbs.....35 lbs.....32 lbs.....anyone hungry ?

I was channel hopping this morning and there was some brilliant pumpkin carving on BBC1 Breakfast the man did recognisable images of Bill and Louise, I should think it must have been about 8.30 if it is on iPlayer.

I saw those carvings Jan, I was amazed at the skill of that artist - especially when they dimmed the lights, it was brilliant.
