good to see the railings getting a once over, hope the paint is of a better quality than used on the surface of the underpass.

I think the blue looks really nice, in keeping with the bluebird theme and not as funereal as black.
Interesting though that a senior local politician is moved to comment on such a trvial issue, there must be a dearth of civil events where she can don her regalia and hunt for a photo shoot.

What do you mean by that Keith?

Is it beyond imagining that the blue paint was purchased wisely, and in vast quantity, and so should be used where it can?

Yeah I've looked at it - what's your point?
And more to the point what is the point of Cllr Nicholas?

rather personal david, anyway back to the point.
tom, being a cultured chap, refers to the origins of the paint in a polite way - what he means is that it appears to be a job lot of bankrupt stock.

Not at all Howard, I believe Cllr Nicholas position is utterly pointless, who holds the post is irrelevant.

I think the paint's colour, whether it be blue or black, is irrelevant here. What is pertinent, however, is the source of the labour employed to do the painting. Are these chaps from a Dover firm, or on a training scheme based in Dover?
