14:1434811Just spotted the above. Yes, the Staffords were based here in the mid 60s, my sister married one of them. Also, I remember in 1965, I was in Pencester road when their band was assembing in the road, and starting with the drum roll, they marched from Pencester, left down Biggin street, to the Market square.
Tell them that I came, and no one answered.

They doing okay though, just keep in the premier, and build on it, they cant compete with the Man UTd, Chelsea etc but the money to stoke to stay in premier has to be one to savour

11:2735911Third defeat in a row for Stoke. The team have obviously been over indulging and celebrating during the festive period. Stoke will not finish in the top six.I have £20 Jersey pounds to go to a charity of your choice Victor if you think they will be in the top six.Do you fancy a flutter on your daughters team????

11:3435914I have always said they will end up in the top ten I still think that Marek,at one time I did say the top six but that was weeks ago.I must say I did not think they would have lost at home last week but as we all know they did,but the top ten is a good bet.

09:2040473Today on your T.V sets at 1700hrs live Man/City-Stoke city FA CUP
This is going to be a very hard one for Stoke to win but I am going to say "Because they are playing well at this time they will win 0-1 but would not bet on it"Lets hope Dover can do the same.
I would like to see Dover play but I will see how I feel later on in the day.
