10:1629978Crikey - this is bizarrely turning into a Stoke City forum. What are the chances of that happening?
No offence Vic, and I'm pleased for you and your family (and I know you watch DAFC a lot too) but I think a lot of us would rather immerse ourselves in the petty playground politicking that too often pollutes this estimable forum than an exhaustive daily digest of life at the Britannia Stadium. And that's saying something.
On a football note a bit closer to home, the mighty Dover are playing Welling at Crabble in the FA Cup this Saturday, kick-off 3pm. Be there.
Come on you Whites! Let's all support our marvellous LOCAL club.

08:2330121I will be going up to Dover at 1430pm lets just hope they do better this week ,lets just hope it was a one off,but it did cost the club alot, not at the top now,I see that the viewing is still holding on to this post is it Dover or the Potters but both need to get points again next week,it is nice to have good cup runs but it is the Leagues that matter most, and if you are in the top 3 it is very hard to stop there ,all the others are out to beat you.

08:1830167Thank you for that Keith, it went down well, like Dover I was on a winner. It was not a very good first half with it being 0-0 up to about 35mins to go then Dover went ahead and did not look back. But Dover still need to play better, they have not been at their best over the last few weeks, but a win is a win and well done to them.

15:5230198The league is very important, but having got this far in the FA Cup now it would be fantastic to get through to the first round, that could be important revenue for the club but also the chance and prestige of playing a big club and tv coverage

16:1330199The success of Dover FC is not only good for the club and its income but its also vital for the Town bringing in fans, local businesses that advertise in the programmes, the petrol stations and snack bars and for the morale of Dover. A good cup run would be fantastic.
Being brought up in Stockport we supported County on a Friday night before travelling to Old Trafford or even Maine Rd on a Saturday for the match.

They still have along way to go and must get better to win the league.top 3 yes but winning it ----

09:4431006Dover at home tonight so I will be up there, and again on Saturday at home F.A.cup.
lets hope they get two wins it would help with funding if they do,and the F.A. cup always gets the public out even if they do not like football that much, what we need is one of the big boys down like Stoke city by the way my Karen is Stoke citys Health Coach.
