The Bridge club was always refered to as the "grab-a-granny" spot and has a reputation as being more the sort of place you go to for something quick and casual; not somewhere to meet a potential relationship. Far better to get out and socialise with nice people (even the total nutcases on here) then you can get to know people and have a better knowledge of who someone is before embarking on a relationship. Helping Jenni celebrate her last hour of freedom sounds like a perfect way to start and the landlady of the White Horse is very nice (she tells us to say that) so you will be in good company. Beware of Paul and Collette with cameras in hand.
Politics, it seems to me, for years, or all too long, has been concerned with right or left instead of right or wrong.

It will be a fun night , Anne chill out enjoy your life and making new friends the one will turn up one day .

Anne, I hope you find Mr Right very soon. I am awful on my own, I just go to pieces, so I think I know where you're coming from, but maybe - just maybe - getting on the merry-go-round of singles clubs, dating creeps and toads and laying oneself open to the assortment of freaks and morons that are attracted to single ladies, might it not be better to wait for Cupid's arrow to strike home of its own accord?
Who was it who said you have to kiss a lot of toads before you find your prince?
True friends stab you in the front.

#170 In other words, Phil finds spider`s threads more interesting.

Tell them that I came, and no one answered.
Phil really likes to surf the web!

he allso likes the inter webbie thing to.
yes I was disappointed to think Phil prefers spiders, I have not even met him. He has obviously formulated his opinion on my input on the site. Or maybe he does just prefer spiders to women in general??
Well my move went well and I am up to my eyes in curtains, gas readings etc but did manage to get out to the steak night at the Railway Bell which was fantastic as always and good job I booked, it was very busy. They have quite a few things going on there including Murder Mystery Nights .. even one organised already for Halloween night(October) not Aug 13th.

The other interesting on was a day at the races which included breakfast, transport and bbq in the evening. Sounds like a good day out. I am not sure whether I will be here then though.. may go on holiday
Spiders are less trouble than women Anne.
