Sources close to 'Disgraced Tory Councillor' (copyright Liverpool Echo) write:-
FWIW Frost was suspended by the Conservative party back in May! Some nutter in East Anglia had gone through his 22,000+ Tweets and send screenshots of three of them to Brandon Lewis the Conservative Party Chairman and asked for them to be investigated.
The Party rightly takes accusations of 'racism' very seriously and Frost was suspended whilst an investigation was set up by an Independent Officer. This has still NOT been completed as the poor bugger is snowed under by the world and his cat complaining about everything and everything, though I believe he now has an assistant to deal with things just 'boris'.
You will note that the Party statement says 'Frost has been suspended' but does not say when.
Frost was asked by both Brandon Lewis and the Investigating Officer NOT to discuss this matter although the Local Party Chairman was, of course, notified.
With the present Twitterstorm, unfortunately Frost has had threatening messages and 'phone calls and the Police have had to become involved. He has had to have his address and 'phone number removed from the DDC website. Also both the Local Party and the National Party are having to waste their time fielding questions from the press. He's therefore resigned from the Conservative Party though NOT DDC.
Just to clear up a few bits from the press coverage
1. There is no Marie Stopes Clinic in Liverpool so no Liverpudlian users of it to offend and it is certainly NOT 'just' an abortion clinic. It deals in all forms of 'planned parenthood'. Frost had his own vasectomy done by the organisation hence the use of the word 'bollocks!' in his Tweet to the humourless Cornell.
2. No, he did not mention the 'race' of the slaves he 'bought' because a)they did not actually exist and b)race was not relevant to the structure of the joke which however much people might wish to twist is was in no form 'racist'. Possibly 'bad taste' but so bloody what? The Slavery Act was in 1833. Get over it.
3. Though it will probably be on his tombstone he never used the phrase 'jungle bunnies'. It was part of a word play in which the phrase was alluded to but never actually mentioned - but that's the problem when you try to be a little too clever ......................

It might be worth remembering one person's humour can often be upsetting or an insult to someone else.
To be honest I think Bob usually knows exactly what he is saying and simply does not care what people might think. It is a shame this area is in the news yet again for bad not good news.

Might want to get the web people at DDC to take down your address on a simple google search also, Bob. It’s in the meta tags. X

#21 How curious then that you felt the need to "apologise unreservedly" for using the term. Or is this also a misrepresentation?

New to the game and reading from a script with a metaphorical game pointed at his head.
Should have stuck to Benjamin Disraeli's maxim - 'Never complain, never explain'.
(Thinks. Handsome little bugger all those years ago before his 'lifestyle' and 'issues' took hold ravaging his boyish good looks.)

"reading from a script" One would never have guessed from reading BF's statement!

Funny old game as Jimmy Greaves once opined, I have been alerted to the rantings of another councillor, one Nathaniel Richards and his posts make Bob look like Mother Theresa. Much as Bob has a personality that makes Narcissus look self deprecating at least there are a few jokes to be found.

Q. I say, I say, I say, what did the Traffic Warden say to the Councillor?
A. Beats me!

That's going a bit far Howard. Mr. Frost may say use some turns of phrase that some people might find offensive, but to compare him to that hideous walnut-faced maniac is a bit much.

Unfortunately Howard even though a few jokes can be found
Most sets out to offend
As Bob has told me that's what he likes to do
He told me how much he likes to watch M eddy bite
LOL
So I agree with Jan

Sorry Keith but Cllr Frost is not in the league of Cllr Richards, just received a screen shot of him telling someone to "go f@@k yourself" and this is on top of very similar stuff recently.

That attitude could help to explain his business failure which is always someone else's fault never his own. Sad both men are their own worst enemy.
