Maybe they need to look further than the Dover area Jan?

Digressing somewhat I know but Yosser reminds me of the Hungarian "builder" who's making a pig's ear of the listed building next door. The extension, devoid of of planning permission, looks more like a sea shore shack made out of driftwood.

So who would you rather have seen in the post Vic?
I think the vast majority of us can think of no one else who we would entirely trust in the post.

Good move by the D.H.B.I have always been a supporter of the port run by a DHB where Mr Wiggins for over 3 years was against them and was trying to sell the port off to a group he was part of .Then when that did not work, he put his own name down to get a job as a member and a paid one at that of the D.H.B. who he disliked for years and done all he could to get rid of
So now he thinks he has won but infact he has not .
What has happen by making him a member of the D,H,B.but they know well the group he was running with the other one who jump ship our own MP,they have got rid of the only two that matter if there is take over bid again. And both of them fell for it,and its the oldest one in the book .

All this does is underline the failure of Charlie for the people of Dover. There is no people's port because it has
FAILED
. Dress it up as sucess all he likes; but the port remains a TRUST port. The chairman, ceo and management are all the same people who privatised.
The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist.
The greatest trick Charlie ever tryed to pull was convincing the PEOPLE of DOVER he changed the port.

I'm glad Vic speaks sense. I look forward to sharing a pint with him as he can clearly see it for what it is.
I hope the people of Dover will realise and vote appropriately VIC!

Thank you Mr Wellington for your remarks about what I wrote which we all know is true.
For many years now I have been saying in the press and at public meeting about how our councils over the last 40years both red and blue have let the town down and the public.
I have have said many times to both councils it would be better if they give up and handed the town over to the D.H.B. to run because over the years we have seen the port moving forward and keeping up with the times where the town has gone the other way ,it looked better just after the war then it does today.
I only have one major draw back with the running of the port I have been very unhappy in the way they have got rid of the best work force that a company could aske for and handed out the work to companys that come from outside of our own district but they are not alone in doing it the council does the same.
In my way of thinking by taking on Mr Wiggins as a paid member of the D.H.B. was wrong and they will have to keep eyes open in back of their heads to see what he is up to.He might try to work on his and the MP plan from within. And also members of the public like myself who have supported the D.H.B.over the years in my case as a cllr and getting up at meeting to voice that support and against the plans that were put forward by Mr Wiggins and the Dover MP now feel let down by that move of putting HIM on as a member of the D,H,B,. Thank you.
