Burglary, car theft and drug dealing are criminalised yet still flourish. No point in making something illegal unless there are both the will and the resources to enforce the law.

Different things Peter. Many things are illegal and flourish. Should we do away with the law altogether?

No Bern that is the opposite of what I meant.

Not quite, Peter. I think what you want is more of a drive to reinforce the law. but in the absence of that we still have to maintain the law. There are many foolish laws, and some good ones that are impossible to reinforce as we stand, but that doesn't mean we should cease to criminalise, or reduce our judgement.
