 - UK population is set to hit 72.5m by 2032 - overtaking France - with the 5m growth driven ENTIRELY by 'staggering' immigration https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-14332909/UK-population-growth-immigration-birth-rate.html

 - The only reply to the above is anyone really surprised all these people want to be in the UK rather than France..... We can offer so much more.

That's NINE times the population of Manchester in the next SEVEN YEARS needed because we are all too sick or lazy to work in restaraunts, pick fruit, look after our elderly, work on building sites, deliver Amazon parcels and that's before we look at 'skilled' jobs.

 - I have not read the article. Surely it can be no surprise that many referred to above are originally from backgrounds or areas in the world where life is considered cheap. - -----------------------------------------------------------------------

 - Apropos of nothing, in the first six months of 2024, we gave out 1,063 health & care visas to workers from Zimbabwe. They brought with them 10,670 dependants. That's 10 dependants for every (likely minimum wage) social care worker.

(Home Office visa stats published in November 2024. Pivot table on the Vis_D02 dataset. Filter by nationality, visa type subgroup, application outcome, applicant type and Q1 2024 + Q2 2024.)

 - Border Security, Asylum and Immigration Bill 2025: factsheets :- -
These factsheets provide more information about the Border Security, Asylum and Immigration Bill introduced in the House of Commons on 30 January 2025.
 https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/border-security-asylum-and-immigration-bill-2025-factsheets
Currently illegal immigrants are prevented from obtaining citizenship. The BSB repeals this, reintroducing a path to citizenship for illegal migrants.

The Border Security Bill also removes the specific ability of the government introduced in the Illegal Immigration Act to conduct scientific age assessment tests, to determine if illegal migrants claiming to be children really are under the age of 18.

In repealing the majority of the Illegal Immigration Act, the Border Security Bill also removed the obligation placed on the government since 2023 to seek to remove illegal immigrants to their country of origin or to a safe third country.-

 - UK SPENDS £141M ON MIGRANT SERVICES FROM TAXPAYERS' MONEY: FROM PLAYSTATIONS TO DJ LESSONS -
UK local councils have reportedly provided PlayStations, yoga, circus skills, driving, and DJ lessons, sparking a debate about the appropriate use of taxpayer money.
 -
This expenditure reflects broader pressures on local councils, with the Local Government Association noting a near doubling of spending on unaccompanied asylum-seeking children to £152.4 million in 2017-18.
 -
Initiatives like the £19 million Controlling Migration Fund in 2018 aimed at integration show government support for these efforts.
 -
This comes as the UK increasingly uses its aid budget domestically, with £4.3 billion spent on refugee costs in 2023, highlighting the complex balance between integration, humanitarian support, and fiscal accountability.

Local Grifter watch!

'Samphire started life as the Dover Detainee Visitor Group back in 2002. It came into being as a result of concerns felt by a number of local residents about the plight of the people detained at the newly established Dover Immigration Removal Centre – a Prison Service operated facility for detaining up to 400 migrants on the site of a disused borstal on Dover’s Western Heights.'
