i was in folkestone early afternoon and the floral displaya at the bottom of the old high street going towards the new water feature looked superb.
i am not trying to put down dover just wondering how they manage it, i don't believe that it is just a matter of higher council tax.
maybe they are getting funding from somewhere else?

I was told by one of the DDC gardeners that there will be no flowers in the beds on the seafront until after the Olympic Torch has passed through Dover either...

Well it's obvious isn't it? Terrorists could be hiding among the petunias.

that is bad news about the seafront, the gateway display is usually a good one.
hopefully bob and chums will do their usual display.

What would the local papers do without the forum, go and find their own quotes and stories maybe.
