And there was me thinking at long last! I found somewhere local to pick up a new 'Steinway'
Howard, your term "fly persons" is excellent

, I hope you have put in for a patent it says it all. Let's hope that the new tenants are not of that 'ilk' as a new business setting up shop in town will be of benefit to all.

Well done to the new shop.

when paynes and aladdins cave were there both had large pavement displays.
whether it was all agreed i don't know but there was never really any sort of obstruction to anybody.

When I went past this morning there was a lot less on the pavement than either Aladdins Cave or Paynes had. Good luck to them starting a new business is really hard work.

the old phone shop is being given a make over, i was told that it would be an eastern european food shop, doubt it though.

The Portuguese restaurant on London Road that was mentioned on another thread now has it's clean bill of health from DDC posted in the window and looks like it has reopened.

Ignorance is bliss, bliss is happiness, I am happy...to draw your attention to the possible connectivity in the foregoing.
No, still don't know. What will it be?

Good one Tom.
A proper deli would be nice but I will not hold my breath.

can't see it being a roaring success, nearly opposite another one and the one in market square doesn't seem to be doing a roaring trade.
